Our valley is criss-crossed with footpaths and bridleways. You can step straight onto woodland trails, follow a stream to a quiet picnic spot, or amble a three-mile loop to a village pub. Back at base, each space has a private outdoor area and a fire pit for easy evenings under the stars. Towels and hoses are on hand for muddy coats. We welcome up to two dogs per stay.

Beck is a design-led, light-filled cabin with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the woodland. A powerful wood burner anchors the living space; the bathroom delivers proper hot water and a flushing loo while remaining fully off-grid. The deck faces both east and west, so you can chase sunbeams in the morning and sit out for stargazing after dark. Beck is perfect for larger breeds.

Tucked in its own patch of forest, Brook is reached over a private footbridge. Inside, a kingsize bed, a wood burner and soft natural textures invite slow mornings. Outside, a deck leads down towards the water and a fire pit sits under the trees. There’s an outdoor hot shower, an indoor flushing loo and a compact kitchenette (two-burner gas hob, 60L fridge). Brook’s privacy is ideal for dogs who settle best without passers-by.

Prefer Wi-Fi and easy access? Secret Valley Cottage sits beside the garden with adjacent parking and a fenced, private outdoor space. Inside you’ll find a king-size bed, an ensuite shower, electric heating and a small but well-equipped kitchen (hob, oven, under-counter fridge). French doors open from the bedroom to the deck, so morning tea can be shared with the birds. This is our most practical option for guests who want a dog-friendly cottage.

Boutique Glamping in the North York Moors

Open, April – October, Creekside is our spacious 5m dome with step-free access, wide entrances and a super-sized deck. You’ll have a king-size bed, a private bathroom (flushing loo, hot shower), indoor/outdoor fires and a kitchenette (double burner, 60L fridge). It sits near the car park with a gravel ramp to a bridge — a thoughtful choice for older dogs or anyone who prefers fewer steps.

Just had a delightful three night stay in Beck. Being so immersed in wood and greenery must be good for the soul. A truly lovely spot, great ‘lodge’, storm Floris meant we got to use the wood burner, which was fab. Lovely walks on the doorstep, Rievaulx an hour’s walk away, Helmsley close at hand….. would loved to have stayed longer, hope to return soon.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!
Brook is much more private than what we had hoped and the surroundings are beautiful with plenty of walks straight from the door.
