Luxury, off-grid accommodation in a hidden Valley in The North York Moors National Park.

The Lazy T is a collection of four handcrafted, dog-friendly spaces for one to three people. Each tucked into the woods, along side the stream and set into 300 acres of Yorkshire countryside.

Designed and built by owners, Katy and Skot, to fit perfectly into their own little nook of woodland, it’s the perfect place to step away from the outside world and reconnect with nature, with each other or simply with yourself.

The off-grid spaces have been thoughtfully designed to minimise impact on the natural surrounds without compromising on comfort. Expect kingsize beds, indoor and outdoor fires, high quality bedding and towels, all private facilities, proper flushing toilets, and steaming hot showers all fed by natural spring water from the land itself.

If you’re craving time out this is the place to slow down, switch off and connect with nature whilst being wrapped in simple, considered luxury.

More than just a place to lay your head

We are a small family run business that really care about your experience. We have designed and crafted each spaces ourselves from our experience of living here and as a sanctuary from the outside world. We are so lucky to live in this beautiful corner of the North York Moors National Park, we wanted to showcase this incredible environment, creating frames for particular view and footbridges over the trickling stream.

The Lazy T is open all year round for summer days paddling in the stream beneath the dappled shade of the surrounding woodland to cosy winter days snuggled by the fire watching the birds.

It’s hard to capture the atmosphere in a single photo so we’ve had filmmaker, Andy Berriman create a series of short films capturing each season here in this ever changing landscape. Discover our favourite season, Autumn, below:
