Creekside

Luxury Glamping North East UK

Glamping North East UK in Creekside — a spacious, step-free dome set beside the stream, designed for guests who want comfort, nature and good design without compromise. Roll straight from the car park over the gravel ramp and private bridge, breathe in the woodland air and settle into a calm, beautifully equipped space that keeps you close to the trees and out of any mud.

A step-free hideaway for slow days

Creekside sits on a raised deck in its own clearing, wrapped by woodland and water. Wide entrances, no steps, and smooth thresholds make moving around simple, whether you use a wheelchair, a buggy, or simply prefer easy access. Under canvas, inflatable beams remove the centre pole, so the interior feels open and airy with generous headroom. You’ll find a king-size bed with high-quality linens, a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings and thoughtful touches throughout.

Customer Reviews

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Creekside. The place is so peaceful, looks even more idyllic than in the pictures, and the surrounding area is beautiful for walking and relaxing. Katy and Skot were fab hosts who gave us a lot of recommendations, would recommend without a doubt!

A fantastic, beautiful and serene place to stay. Would absolutely recommend if you are in need of some rest and relaxation.
Everything about the stay was amazing, the outdoor kitchen, shower and the log burner to heat the dome.
Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.
Thank you, Katy and Skot x

Calm and peaceful – this was a great place to relax and have a mobile phone detox. Had everything you need; clean bathroom, kitchen with utensils, plenty of wood and kindling for a two night stay, clean bed with comfy mattress and pillows – essential! I think my goldendoodle enjoyed it the most!! Will 100% be back

Luxury glamping in the North East UK

Creekside Glamping Dome. Luxury Glamping North East UK

Wake to birdsong and dappled light. Take your morning coffee on the east side of the deck and plan the day with a map on the table. Wander to Rievaulx Abbey, swim at Helmsley’s open-air pool, visit the National Centre for Birds of Prey or follow the stream through the woods and back. In the evening, light the stove, play a board game and listen to owls call over the valley. If you enjoy food, ask about Katy’s foraging classes and occasional wild-food suppers on site. We source timber from the farm, clean with low-waste products and power the retreat with solar — eco choices that never get in the way of comfort.

Nearby — make a week of it

There’s plenty to do in the local area. You’re 10 minutes from Helmsley for coffee, bakeries and dinner; close to Rievaulx Abbey, Duncombe Park and the National Centre for Birds of Prey; and within easy reach of classic North York Moors walks and viewpoints. If you’re planning a longer trip across the region, Creekside makes a brilliant base for Glamping in the North East UK, with coastal days out (Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay) and moorland drives all within reach.
